摘要： The invention relates to an injection molding tool having a nozzle plate which comprises a first through-hole in an axial direction, in which first through-hole an injection molding nozzle is arranged extending in the axial direction. The injection molding tool further includes a cavity plate which comprises at least one cavity half into which a second through-hole, which is arranged in the cavity plate and coaxially with respect to the first through-hole, opens. A nozzle bushing, which encloses the injection molding nozzle at least in certain regions in the assembled state, is arranged in the second through-hole. The nozzle bushing is operatively connected to the cavity plate and/or nozzle plate by way of an operative connection means, wherein the nozzle bushing and the operative connection means are operatively connected to one another at least in the axial direction.

摘要： An injection nozzle for use in an injection molding machine. The injection nozzle has a nozzle body. The nozzle body has a tip section, a nut section, a threaded section that are interposed between a first end and a second end. A conduit extends through the nozzle body between an intake orifice and an output orifice. Within the nozzle body, the conduit has a first zone and a second zone that meet at a transition area. The first zone extends into the nozzle body from the first end. The second zone extends into the nozzle body from the second end. Fins radially extend into the first zone of the conduit. The fins absorb heat from material passing through the first zone of the conduit. The fins can cause molten material to cool quicker in the first zone of the conduit than in the second zone of the conduit.

摘要： A unitary monolithically formed hot-runner apparatus having at least a manifold containment structure, a hot-runner manifold, at least one nozzle, and one or more spacers. In some embodiments, the manifold containment structure, hot-runner manifold, nozzle(s), and spacer(s) may be multi-material apparatuses of unitary monolithic construction. In other embodiments, a thermal expansion accommodation portion is provided for each nozzle to accommodate thermal growth. Each spacer may be formed of a material having a lower thermal conductivity than the materials of the hot-runner manifold and manifold containment structure and may be made to include a discontinuity to allow for thermal expansion.

摘要： A side gate nozzle assembly for a hot runner apparatus comprises a disc shaped base body, a probe member, a sealing insulator, and a shape memory alloy washer. The probe member with a probe channel extends from the base body. A molten molding material is received through a melt channel of the nozzle body, and allowed to pass through the probe channel to be transferred to a cavity of a cavity member. The shape memory alloy washer is positioned between the base body and the sealing insulator. The shape memory alloy washer distorts linearly to push the sealing insulator and the probe member according to change in temperature due to transfer of the molten molding material from the melt channel to the cavity member via the probe channel. The distorted shape memory alloy washer prevents leakage of the molten molding material from the melt channel, and the probe channel.

摘要： A hot runner nozzle assembly includes a nozzle heater, a hot runner nozzle, a nozzle tip, a nozzle tip seal surrounding the nozzle tip and a connecting element positioned to removably couple the tip seal to the nozzle tip and to create a first contact seal between the nozzle tip and the tip seal and a second annular contact seal between the tip seal and a mold component. The nozzle tip is made or shaped via a sintering process from a metal matrix composite (MMC) material having a first coefficient of thermal expansion. The tip seal is made or shaped from a ceramic based powder material, having a second coefficient of thermal expansion that is different from the first coefficient of thermal expansion. In operation this hot runner nozzle assembly provides an improved heat profile and a reduced leakage at the tip area under a wider operating processing window.
