    • A bracket assembly for supporting an ornamental box having a bottom and peripherally contiguous side and end walls defining outer box surfaces having a preestablished design embossed thereon. A pair of brackets are included in the assembly for supporting opposite ends of the ornamental box. Each of the pair of brackets has a horizontal floor to underlie the bottom of the box adjacent the end walls thereof, and a vertically oriented, generally U-shaped containment wall having inner and outer bracket surfaces. The lower end portions of the outer box surfaces are recessed to receive the U-shaped containment walls in a manner so that the preestablished design on the box surfaces is extended to include the outer bracket surfaces, and so that the box is removably supported by the brackets against lateral displacement by the inner bracket surfaces.

    • A method of manufacturing a vented tamper evident closure of the J-hook type to a container involves a closure of the type including a base, a downwardly depending sidewall portion and a tamper evident band. The tamper evident band is frangibly connected to the sidewall portion and includes a main band portion and a J-hook retention member that includes a plurality of retaining elements and a corresponding plurality of flexible web elements. Advantageously, the retention member is originally molded in a first position wherein it is positioned substantially beneath and in alignment with the main band portion of the tamper evident band. This molding position creates substantial manufacturing advantages. When the closure is installed onto the container, the retention member is circumferentially compressed and folds inwardly as it is moved to a second, engaged position wherein it is bent upwardly and inwardly to engage the container. The substantial circumferential compression of the retention member is enabled by the provision of the flexible web elements. In addition, ventilation openings are preferably defined within the flexible web elements. The ventilation openings provide a dual benefit in that they further promote efficient moldability of the closure and that they permit the entire container assembly, including the closure, to be washed after packaging to remove any food material that may be left after filling permit the closure.

    • A dispensing container assembly includes a container having a threaded finish portion, at least one modular sealed vial that contains a substance, and a closure cap that is adapted to be screwed on to the container. The closure cap includes a closure main body having a top portion and a downwardly depending sidewall portion that is adapted to be secured to the container. An insert is positioned between the closure cap and the container for securing the modular sealed vial to the closure cap. The closure cap further includes structure for unsealing the sealed vial, and the inset includes releasing structure for releasing the unsealed vial from the vial securing structure in order that it may fall into the container. A method of dispensing a substance into the container is also disclosed.
