摘要： A nanocomposite material and a method of manufacturing the same are disclosed. The nanocomposite material includes a plurality of nanoparticles coated with a metal oxide, and a matrix of the metal oxide immobilizing the nanoparticles that are dispersed therein. The nanocomposite material is manufactured such that macro- or macro-scale cracks are prevented or effectively prevented, light stability is enhanced over a light-emitting period, and light brightness is improved.

摘要： The memory device includes a source region and a drain region in a substrate and spaced apart from each other; a memory cell formed on a surface of the substrate, wherein the memory cell connects the source region and the drain region and includes a plurality of nanocrystals; a control gate formed on the memory cell. The memory cell includes a first tunneling oxide layer formed on the substrate; a second tunneling oxide layer formed on the first tunneling oxide layer; and a control oxide layer formed on the second tunneling oxide layer. The control oxide layer includes the nanocrystals. The second tunneling oxide layer, having an aminosilane group the increases electrostatic attraction, may be hydrophilic, enabling the formation of a monolayer of the nanocrystals.

摘要： Provided is a method of disrupting cells comprising adding gold nanorods to a solution containing cells and irradiating the gold nanorods with a laser to disrupt the cells. A method and an apparatus for continuously disrupting cells and amplifying nucleic acids in a single microchamber are also provided, wherein the method comprises introducing a solution containing cells and gold nanorods into a microchamber, irradiating a laser onto the gold nanorods to disrupt the cells, and amplifying a nucleic acid from the disrupted cells in the microchamber. The apparatus comprises a cell disruption chamber comprising a sample inlet, and gold nanorods introduced therein; a laser attached to the cell disruption chamber, wherein the laser is for generating light at a wavelength absorbed by the gold nanorods; and a heater and a cooler for heating and cooling the cell disruption chamber. Also disclosed is a lab-on-a chip comprising the apparatus.
