摘要： A modular foundation includes a central portion and a plurality of legs non-rotatably secured to and extending from the central portion. The plurality of legs are substantially equally spaced apart from each other wherein each leg includes a proximal end and a distal end. A ballast support adapter is attached to the distal end of each leg wherein the adapter is configured to support one or more ballast plates such that each leg can be independently positioned for leveling the foundation and supporting the monopole in a vertical position. A platform supports the monopole and is pivotally attached to the central portion wherein the platform is configured to move from a vertical position to a horizontal position.

摘要： A portable and modular foundation that can be utilized to support a monopole includes a central hub and a plurality of legs. A proximal end of each leg is removably attached to the central hub. A plurality of floor panels extends from proximate the hub to a perimeter of the foundation and define a substantially uninterrupted floor. With the plurality of floor panels attached to the legs, the foundation can optionally be buried where the soil or other material is positioned on top of the floor panels to provide the necessary ballast to allow the foundation to retain a monopole with a piece of equipment in an elevated position. Alternatively, if the foundation is to be utilized above ground, a plurality of wall panels can be attached to the floor panels and the legs with braces to retain the wall panels in a substantially vertical position. The plurality of wall panels forms a substantially continuous wall about a perimeter of foundation such that ballast can be placed therein.

The foundation includes a plurality of connecting members, each connecting member configured to attach a ballast holder to the central portion, wherein a length of the plurality of connecting members is determined based upon the load capacity required to retain the tower in a vertical position, wherein when the plurality of ballast holders is connected to the central portion, the central portion is elevated above the plurality of ballast holders, wherein different lengths of the connecting members expands and contracts the footprint of the foundation to match the foundation to the required maximum loading requirements.
