    • A rotor for a rotary electric machine has a plurality of magnetic poles provided at intervals in a circumferential direction of a rotor core, at an outer periphery of the rotor core. Each of the magnetic poles includes a central magnet, a pair of circumferential-direction magnets disposed on both sides of the central magnet in the circumferential direction such that a spacing between the pair widens towards an outer periphery of the rotor core, and low permeability regions provided in the vicinity of end portions of the central magnet in the circumferential direction, and having a permeability lower than a magnetic material of the rotor core. The rotor core is formed such that a width of a magnetic path entrance portion that is formed between a magnetic-pole inward side face of the circumferential-direction magnet and the adjacent low permeability region decreases towards an outer peripheral face of the rotor core.

    • A voltage generating circuit, in which the influence of offset of an amplifier on an output voltage is reduced, has first and second bipolar transistors (Q1, Q2) having emitter terminals at the same electric potential. A base terminal of Q1 is disposed on a collector side of Q2. A first resistance element connects the collector side of Q2 with the base side of Q2; and a second resistance element (R1) connects a collector side of Q1 to R2. A third resistance element (R3) connects a base terminal of Q2 with the electric potential of the emitter terminals. An amplifier (A1) outputs a voltage based on a voltage difference between the collector sides of Q1 and Q2; and a voltage-current converting section (MP1, MP2) converts amplifier output into a current supplied to the connection node of R1 and R2. A voltage is then output on the basis of the generated current.

    • A plurality of magnetic poles are disposed at intervals, in a circumferential direction, at an outer periphery of a rotor core. Each magnetic pole has a pair of permanent magnets disposed spaced apart from each other in the circumferential direction, and a magnetic flux suppression hole that suppresses flow of magnetic flux and that is formed extending on the inward side in the radial direction, between inner-periphery-side end portions of each permanent magnet. The magnetic flux suppression hole is formed of two first holes respectively communicating with magnet insertion holes into which the permanent magnets are inserted, and a second hole that is formed between the first holes with bridge portions interposed therebetween. An outer-periphery-side end portion of the second hole is positioned further outward than an imaginary straight line that passes through the inner-periphery-side end portions of the pair of permanent magnets.
