    • The present invention is concerned with novel compositions containing fresh or virgin beeswaxes and oil, with and without water, and the utilization of such compositions for the treatment of skin in animals including man, for treatment for first, second, and third degree (partial and full thickness) burns due to sunburn, windburn, scalds, flash flame, electrical contact, chemical contact, cold, and the like, for use as a preventive aid for sunburn, windburns, skin chapping, chafing and the like, for promoting and accelerating the healing of burns, abrasions, lacerations, cuts, scratches, dry skin, chapped skin, wind burned skin, friction-type burns, chafing and the like, for use as a softening and moisturizing agent, for use in the reduction of wrinkles, for use as a topical application to irritations of the skin, including dry lips, chapped skin, abrasions, and the like, for use as an analgesic to be applied topically for the treatment and alleviation of pain in the skin and underlying tissues, for use as a protective barrier between the skin and other irritants, eg, saliva, urine, fecal material, various chemical irritants and the like, and for use as a base to which may be added other agents also promoting treatment, moisturization, protective or preventive measures for the skin.

    • This invention relates to an effective dietary intervention plan. In one aspect all food is withheld for a period of at least 5 days, except for tropical root crops. In another aspect the invention relates to the treatment of various symptoms, conditions or diseases such as Diarrhea, constipation, congestion, eczema, asthma, fatigue, muscle weakness, tension, and spasms, irritable bowel syndrome, swelling, anxiety, multiple chemical sensitivities, moderate to extensive and moderate to severe symptoms due to food allergies, sensitivities, and intolerances, bloating, pain, headaches, leaky gut, hyperactivity, sleeping difficulties, severe underweight, eating disorders, obsessive, compulsive disorders, panic attacks, sensory sensitivities, Alzheimer's disease, acid reflux, irritability, delayed motor skills, delayed social skills, autism, PDD, infantile spasms, seizures by withholding from the patient for a period of at least 5 days all food except for concentrated forms of concentrated tropical root crops.     • Cellulosic materials, including dimension lumber, plywood, particle board, wafer board, paper, fabric and similar materials, were treated with sodium silicate (Na2O.SiO2) in concentrations ranging from 400-0.04 g Na2O.SiO2/kg water and the surfaces of selected samples were further treated with silicon oxide (SiO or SiO2) applied in a molecular to micron layer thickness by vapor deposition. Tests were conducted to determine the effectiveness of these materials in terms of fire resistance, durability, duration of effectiveness and moisture resistance. For sodium silicate as a sole treatment, flame retardance was found to increase as the concentration of sodium silicate in solution increased. To overcome the disadvantages of sodium silicate, sodium silicate treated samples were further treated by the deposition of a molecular coating of silicon oxide by vapor deposition. Samples treated by this technique were found to be completely moisture resistance. The combined application of sodium silicate and silicon oxide was found to provide a fire retardant product that is moisture resistant and decomposition resistant and, therefore, effective for internal and external uses. Sodium silicate treated materials, where the sodium silicate is coated with a thin layer of silicon oxide does appear to provide an effective fire retardant material.
