In addition, the material has high hardness and excellent peeling-off resistance, wearing resistance, chemical resistance and thermal resistance. Of the material, at least a part of surface has a number of protrusions of titanium oxide or titanium alloy oxide, e.g., at least a part of surface of the material has a layer, bristled with a number of fine pillars of titanium oxide or titanium alloy oxide, exposing therefrom, or a great number of consecutive narrowed protrusions bristled with fine pillars both being of titanium oxide or titanium alloy oxide, exposes from a film. Said protrusions, such as said fine pillars or said narrowed protrusions, are dopped with carbon.
