    • A hydraulic pump is needed in order to use hydraulic pressure, and capacity of a motor must be increased in order to increase the pressure of the hydraulic pump. However, it requires lots of electric energy, increases noise, and hence, in order to solve the above problems, and an inverter controls a hydraulic pump motor. In this instance, capacity of the motor is increased more because the used motor must be operated while keeping pressure even at a low speed. In order to solve the problem, a reduction motor is additionally mounted at the rear of the hydraulic pump motor in series and a pump motor shaft and a reduction motor shaft are connected by a coupling having a clutch bearing therein. The reduction motor is controlled not to rotate when just the pump motor which is a main motor rotates at a high speed and to subsidiarily rotate only in a low speed rotation section where the rotation speed of the pump motor is lower than the allowable speed of the reduction motor or to rotate in a low speed section in a state where the pump motor is stopped, thereby providing improved performance even though the capacity of the pump motor is small. When a returned flow rate is increased due to excessive flow rate and pressure, temperature of oil rises, lots of electric energy is consumed for rotating the motor, and there is a severe noise. However, according to the present invention, because the pump motor is rotated, the reduction motor is rotated, or the pump motor and the reduction motor are rotated together according to consumed flow rate and pressure, the present invention can prevent a rise of oil temperature, reduce consumption of energy and noise by supplying pressure and flow rate of proper amounts.

The hydraulic pump forms hydraulic pressure in the hydraulic working oil. The electric motor converts electric energy to mechanical energy. The housing body has a receiving space for receiving the hydraulic pump and the electric motor together. A flow path for flowing hydraulic working oil is formed inside the housing body. The oil cooling part cools the hydraulic working oil. The control box is coupled to the housing body and controls the operation of the hydraulic pump, the electric motor, and the oil cooling part. Some of the hydraulic working oil flowing into the housing body flow into the electric motor.

    • PURPOSE: A method for controlling a hydraulic pump of an excavator is provided to enable optimal control of an engine and a pump by operating the engine at a rotational speed in which fuel efficiency is the best. CONSTITUTION: A method for controlling a hydraulic pump of an excavator is as follows. If motions for options are selected through a manipulation unit by a worker(S10), a set discharge flow rate of a hydraulic pump is inputted from a dashboard to a controller by the worker(S20). Demanded discharge flow rate less than demanded discharge flow rate indicating the maximum discharge flow rate in which the hydraulic pump of the excavator can discharge at maximum and engine rotation speed and demanded discharge flow rate at a relevant section where the engine rotation speed and fuel efficiency are high are scanned(S30). In order to discharge the set discharge flow rate set in the dash board through the hydraulic pump, maximum flow rate per engine rotation speed is calculated(S40). The engine is controlled to have the engine rotation speed for discharging the flow rate nearest to the set discharge flow rate set in the dashboard among the calculated maximum flow rate per engine rotation speed(S60). Signal currents corresponding to the calculated maximum flow rate per engine rotation speed are outputted to control the discharge flow rate of the hydraulic pump.
