    • The present invention relates to a hammer device capable of conducting an excavation task while crushing rocks in the ground. The hammer device of the present invention has a main discharging hole and branch holes with many paths connected to the main hole in a multi-stage form in the center and around the outer periphery of a piston which does a linear reciprocating motion within a casing of the hammer according to the action of the compressed air, multiple compressed air transfer holes connected to the branch holes of the piston within the casing, and a compression chamber formed on the upper end of the piston and having a time lag to the discharge speed of the compressed air. According to the present invention, compared to the conventional hammer device, the compressed air supplied from the entrance of the hammer to the lower end of the piston flows in many directions through the main discharge hole and the branch holes formed in the piston. The compressed air is rapidly transferred to the upper and lower ends of the piston through compressed air transfer holes, which enables air pressure for forming high pressure for the linear reciprocating motion of the piston to be filled quickly. The time lag of the discharge speed to the compressed air within the compression chamber installed on the upper end of the piston plays a role of a sealing film to the compressed air supplied from the lower end of the piston to the upper end. The reciprocating speed of the piston is increased by enabling to achieve the high pressure to the upper and lower ends of the piston in a short time through the compressed air transfer holes.
