    • The present invention relates to a method of recycling propyleneglycol monomethylether acetate (PMA) used in a photoresist process which comprises the following steps: a preparation step for preparing a waste organic solvent with PGEMA and impurities used in the photoresist process; a first reaction step for inserting a polymerization preventing agent into the waste organic solvent for reaction; a second reaction step for inserting an additive into the waste organic solvent for reaction; and a removal step for removing the impurities from the waste organic solvent by fractional distillation. The method enables users to purify the waste organic solvent and obtain high purity PMA.

    • PURPOSE: Provided are a monomer having a high refractive index, a curable composition containing the monomer which has a sufficiently high glass transition temperature and shows a high refractive index even after cured, an optical film and a light management film containing the reaction product of the composition, a backlight display containing the light management film, and a method for preparing a monomer having a high refractive index. CONSTITUTION: The monomer comprises a compound represented by the formula 1, wherein Z is an ethylenically unsaturated group; X is O, S or NH; L1 and L2 are independently a C1-C3 alkylene group, -(C1-C3 alkylene)-S-(C1-C3 alkylene)- or -(C1-C3 alkylene)-O-(C1-C3 alkylene)-; R is H or a C1-C6 alkyl group; R1 and R2 are independently an aryl group, aryl(C1-C6 alkylene)-, a heteroaryl group or heteroaryl(C1-C6 alkylene)-, and these groups are substituted with 0-5 substituents independently selected from a halogen atom, a C1-C4 alkyl group, a C1-C4 alkoxy group, (C1-C4 alkyl)S-, a C1-C4 haloalkyl group and a C1-C4 haloalkoxy group; Y1 and Y2 are independently O, S, NH or N; if both Y1 and Y2 are S, X is S, at least one of R1 and R2 are a substituted heteroaryl group or heteroaryl(C1-C6 alkylene)-, or at least one of L1 and L2 are -(C1-C3 alkylene)-S-(C1-C3 alkylene)- or -(C1-C3 alkylene)-O-(C1-C3 alkylene)-; and if Y1 or Y2 is N, the each corresponding combination R1-Y1 or R1-Y2 is independently a N-containing heteroaryl group except carbazole.
