    • PURPOSE: A casting device is provided to prevent the blockage of a nozzle by melting materials that obstructs the flow of molten steel through a nozzle using a microwave heating member. CONSTITUTION: A casting device(100) comprises a tundish(10) accommodating molten steel(5), a nozzle coupled with the tundish, a mold which casts the molten metal supplied through the nozzle from the tundish, a heating member(20) which is located near the nozzle and generates microwaves to heat the nozzle, an insulating member(30) which encloses the nozzle to thermally insulate the nozzle, and a blocking member(35) which is arranged outside the heating member to shut off the microwaves leaking outside.

    • PURPOSE: A submerged nozzle heating apparatus is provided to implement heating with electric power instead of dangerous materials, such as LNG. CONSTITUTION: A submerged nozzle heating apparatus comprises a microwave generating unit(120) and a heating unit(140). The microwave generating unit comprises one or more magnetrons(122) arranged outside a submerged nozzle, a power supply(124) supplying power to the magnetrons, and a controller. The heating unit is interposed between the microwave generating unit and the submerged nozzle and heated by microwave to heat the submerged nozzle.
