    • PURPOSE: An apparatus for reducing continuous casting segment rolls is provided to prevent bulging of a strip by minimizing friction of sliding plates between reduction plates and reduction frames and effectively preventing raising of segment rolls so that roll gap between left and right segment rolls is constantly maintained. CONSTITUTION: In an apparatus for reducing continuous casting segment rolls which is installed in such a manner that segment rolls (R1,R2) through which molten steel flown into a mold through ladle and tundish passes apply a certain rolling reduction to molten steel between segment roll parts (R1',R2') mounted on frames (F1,F2), the apparatus comprises first and second sliding members which are installed so that the sliding members are moved to the lower side of a horizontal beam (B) of a stand (S) on the inner side of which the segment roll parts (R1',R2') are arranged by individual driving means(10a,10b); first and second reduction members(20a,20b) which are installed at the lower side of frames of the segment roll parts (R1',R2') so that the reduction members(20a,20b) are contacted with each other when the sliding members are moved, and on at least one of which an inclined region is formed to prevent lifting of the segment roll parts (R1',R2'); first and second gap adjusting means(30a,30b) which are installed between the frames of the segment roll parts (R1',R2') to adjust gap between the segment roll parts (R1',R2'); and an air ejection means(40) which is installed on the frames (F1,F2) of the roll parts to prevent foreign substance from sticking onto the reduction members contacted with the sliding members and onto contact regions of the gap adjusting means(30a,30b).

    • 본고안은 제철소 연주공장의 턴디쉬 상부에 장착되는 아르곤 취입장치에 관한 것으로서, 특히 용강의 용착 및 비산을 방지하고 비산되는 지금 덩어리를 되도록 작은 량으로 결정되게 하고 가스 누출을 방지하며 외각 철피의 휨을 방지할 수 있으며 교체 및 정비가 용이한 주조중 아르곤 가스 취입장치에 관한 것이다.
      본고안에서는 주조설비의 턴디쉬 상부에 장착되며, 가스공급용 원형의 파이프(6)가 상단에 설치된 원뿔형 부분과 하부의 상자형 부분으로 이루어진 아르곤 가스 취입장치에 있어서, 가스 및 열기의 누출을 방지하도록 상부의 원뿔형 부분(7)을 직접 하부의 상자형 부분의 상부판(1)에 용접결합시키고, 하부의 상자형 부분의 내화물 중에는 비산하는 용강의 용착을 방지하기 위하여 스프링형 앵커(9)를 설치하는 것을 특징으로 하는 주조중 아르곤가스 취입장치를 제공한다.
      또한, 본 고안에서는 상기 상부의 원뿔형 부분의 상단에 배치된 파이프(6)를 하부로 연장하여 상자형 부분의 중심부에 사각형을 이루는 파이프(16)를 설치할 수 있다.

CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for shutting off outflow of non solidified molten steel in a tundish is for recycling a stopper (1) in a tundish after completing the casting operation. A submerged entry nozzle cutting device comprises a carrier (20) of a sliding gate (19) mounted on lower part of a tundish through a fixed axis, a cylinder operated so that the sliding gate (19) inserted in the carrier (20) is moved back and forth, and a base plate mounted on lower part of the submerged entry nozzle (7). A molten steel outflow blocking device (10) comprises a molten steel outflow blocking material (61) mounted on end part of a horizontal support beam (47) which is inserted in the submerged entry nozzle (7) for cutting off outflow of molten steel. An operation part of the molten steel outflow blocking device (10) comprises a pair of vertical support beams (44), a rotation gear operated by a motor, a horizontal support beam (47) which is coupled to end part of the vertical support beam (44), and the molten outflow blocking device (10) is mounted on other end part of which, and a tilting cylinder (50) for ascendingly operating the horizontal support beam (47).

CONSTITUTION: In a continuous casting method for preventing edge crack generation in hot rolling by restraining chemical components of ingot to be introduced into a tundish from a ladle, an atomic ratio between manganese and sulfur in the ingot is maintained in the range of 75-85 and molten aluminium content is restrained to 0.020-0.30wt%, when carbon content contained in the ingot is 0.02-0.06wt%.
