    • A session updating method and a terminal through network-based capability management are provided to reduce end-to-end signaling through radio section by allowing a server in a network to obtain information about capability of a user equipment and centrally manage it. A controller(103) transmits information about one or more capabilities required for performing a service with one or more entities via a communication module(101) in order to distribute it. When one or more capabilities are changed, the controller transmits information about the changed capabilities to a management server in order to distribute it to the one or more entities. The controller performs session updating with the one or more entities by using the information about the changed capabilities. The information about the one or more capabilities is included in a capability information response message and transmitted. The information about the one or more changed capabilities is included in a capability information response message or a capability information update message and transmitted.

    • A wireless network communication method using a direct link and its apparatus are provided to minimize a data loss caused by interference or a weak signal by using an active channel conversion method. When the quality of a direct link channel is below a certain reference, of when a signal received by a channel includes a radar signal, a DLP(Direct Link Protocol) station 1 transmits a channel change request frame to an AP(Access Point)(1902). The AP searches whether there is an available channel, and if there is an available channel, the AP records the number of the available channel in the channel change request frame and transmits it to a DLP station 2(1904). The DLP station 2 transmits a channel change response frame to the AP(1906). The AP transmits the channel change response frame to the DLP station 2(1908).

    • A method for operating a memory in a mobile communication system is provided to remove limit of the number of bursts which are received in a minimum memory space by dynamically allocating the memory space according to bursts based on information transmitted from a MAP decoder. A method for operating a memory in a mobile communication system includes the steps of: directly transmitting the number of bursts and a length for each burst in a MAP decoder to a data receiving block(701); configuring and transmitting a burst descriptor corresponding to a burst index based on the received number of bursts and the received length for each burst to an LMAC(Low Medium Access Control); storing a MAC PDU(Packet Data Unit) in a field which indicates a storage position of the MAC PDU included in the current burst, writing 0 in a data receiving block, and setting a field of a valid burst indicator as truth by updating the LMAC to 1 if the transmission of the MAC PDU corresponding to the burst is completed(705); determining whether an F field for each burst is set as truth(707); and transmitting the MAC PDU to an upper node and setting the F field as false when the F field for each burst is set as truth(709).
