    • PURPOSE: A discharge gap device for protecting distribution line and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to set a protection scope and time in consideration of a discharge gap. CONSTITUTION: A ZnO device(53) protects an electric power system by discharging dynamic current when abnormal voltage flows in and is installed between a first bushing(31) and a serial discharge gap. A parallel discharge gap(51) is connected to the ZnO device. The parallel discharge gap protects the ZnO device. A serial discharge gap(44) cuts off ZnO leakage current in a normal state. The serial discharge gap is installed between an ZnO device and a second bushing(41).

    • PURPOSE: A lightning stroke detecting method is provided to realize the automation and perform the fast diagnosis without advanced knowledge about the position of the lightning stroke. CONSTITUTION: An aircraft(110) includes a composite structure and a plurality of small-sized and light polling-available communication device. The polling-available communication device provides a lightning stroke detection applicable range. A lightning stroke detecting method is a method of detecting the route of the lightning stroke in the aircraft. The method comprises the following steps of: querying the plural communication devices which cover the area of the aircraft; distinguishing a disable device; and distinguishing a predetermined inspection zone from the disable device.
