    • A head position control method, a head position control device, and a disk device are provided to restrict position shift of a head due to NRRO(non repeatable run out) by the control of an observer. A disk device comprises a head(3), an actuator(1), a control unit(20), and a table(22). The head reads data from a disk storage. The actuator determines the position of the head on the disk storage. The control unit generates state information by using an estimated gain of an observer and calculates a control value of the actuator from the state information. The table stores the estimated gain corresponding to the target position of the head. The control unit extracts the estimated gain from the table and changes disturbance suppression frequency of the observer.

    • A method and a device for controlling a slew rate of a recording current waveform for a hard disc drive are provided to optimize recording performance thereof for non-linear transition caused as disc speed and recording bubble expansion speed tend to be harmonized based on a track which is recorded and re-written. A method for controlling a slew rate of a recording current waveform for a hard disc drive includes a step of setting the slew rate by using the slew rate based on a track; and a step of controlling the recording current waveform generated by a channel interface on the basis of the slew rate, where the slew rate includes an upward edge inclination. An embedded circuit(500) for the method comprises a slew rate setting unit(154) and a recording current waveform control unit(152). The slew rate setting unit controls the slew rate on the basis of the track. The recording current waveform control unit controls the recording current waveform which is generated by the channel interface based on the control of the slew rate.
