    • PURPOSE: An expansion joint system of a support for a tunnel is provided to cope with construction error, and to maximize the performance of the support with improved bearing power and stability. CONSTITUTION: An expansion joint system(100) of a support for a tunnel comprises a base portion(200) an auxiliary base portion(300), a height adjusting screw portion(400), a transfer plate(500), and a height adjusting nut(600). The base portion comprises a support plate and a pair of vertical plates vertically installed on the support plate. The auxiliary base portion is fitted between the vertical plates, and connected by a hinge pin(700). The auxiliary base portion is rotationally formed on the base portion around the hinge pin. The height adjusting screw portion is vertically installed to the center of the auxiliary base portion, and comprises screw threads on the outer surface. The transfer plate is attached to the end of the support(10), and connects the support to the height adjusting screw portion. The height adjusting nut is connected to the height adjusting screw portion to fix and move the transfer plate up and down.
