    • A method and an apparatus for forming bedding for an animal cage are provided to improve the adsorption power of the bedding, thereby preventing animal and an inner wall of the cage from being contaminated by excretion of the animal, by mixing sources and water to prepare pulp, coating a surface of the pulp with a coating liquid having adsorption power, and cutting the coated pulp into particles. Pulverized pulp of 100kg is firstly mixed into water of 3000kg, and water of 2000kg is again mixed into the mixed pulp while the mixed pulp is stirred. The resultant pulp is temporarily stored in a pulp storage case(10). The pulp is discharged to coat an upper surface of a conveyor belt(21). Water is removed from the pulp on the conveyor belt by using a route blower and a pipe. The pulp on the conveyor belt is firstly cut in a longitudinal direction while a width of the pulp is maintained. The cut pulp is transferred into a drying room, and dried within the drying room. The dried pulp is cut in a width direction based on a progress direction of the pulp so as to particularize the pulp. The particularized pulp is collected, and a coating liquid is coated on a surface of the particularized pulp.
