    • PURPOSE: A refinement process of a needle cokes raw material is provided to reduce an impurity which is contained in the needle cokes raw material to the minimum quantity. CONSTITUTION: A mixture is obtained by mixing at least one solvent selected from tar and a pitch and at least one solvent selected from a single solvent and a mixed solvent. An impurity is removed by separating the mixture. The solvent has the paraffin quality of 11.0 to 12.8. The single solvent comprises biphenyl, undecane, dodecane, tridecane or kerosene. The mixed solvent comprises at least two selected from the biphenyl, hexane, the undecane, the dodecane, the tridecane, tetradecane, anthracene oil, absorption oil, and the kerosene. The solvent is mixed with 0.5 through 50 weight% of a total mixture amount. The impurity comprises quinoline insoluble contained in at least one selected from the pitch and the tar. A needle cokes raw material comprises the impurity less than 0.4 weight%.

    • PURPOSE: An ultrasound-soxhlet complex separation device and a complex separation method using the same are provided to precisely separate a substance melted in solvent from a substance not melted in the solvent. CONSTITUTION: A firs container (102) stores first solvent. A heating unit (104) heats the first container. A second container (106) forms an inner space including the first solvent. A condensing unit (108) supplies gas to the second container by circulating refrigerant. A first moving pipe (110) moves the first solvent to the condensing unit. A filter (112) passes the first solvent but selectively passes a separation target substance. An ultrasound generating unit (114) delivers ultrasound energy to the second container. A second moving pipe (116) circulates the first solvent to the first container.
