    • PURPOSE: A harmful gas inhibitor for the treatment of a metal surface is provided, to reduce the harmful gas generated in the acid washing process of metal surface treating process by adsorbing or removing the harmful gas. CONSTITUTION: The harmful gas inhibitor comprises 90-100 wt% of a cationic surfactant such as a lauryl-based quaternary salt and/or a nonionic organic compound such as a stearic acid-based ester; and 4-6 wt% of at least one inorganic compound selected from the group consisting of Na3PO4, Na2MoO3 and CuCl3·2H2O.
