    • PURPOSE: A co-adsorbent with a hole transporting property and a dye-sensitized solar cell containing the same are provided to reduce open voltage loss with a dye by forming new oxidation-reduction potential, to improve photocurrent and photovoltage, to quickly recharge the dye, and to ensure high photocurrent. CONSTITUTION: A compound is denoted by chemical formula 1. The compound is compounds of chemical formulas 2-4. A co-adsorbent contains the compound of chemical formula 1. A dye-sensitized solar cell contains an absorber layer containing the co-adsorbent with a hole transporting layer. The dye-sensitized solar cell comprises: a first electrode containing a conductive transparent substrate; the absorber layer formed on one side of the first electrode; a second electrode which is placed facing the first electrode; and an electrolyte placed between the first and second electrodes.
