    • PURPOSE: An acetyl cellulose-based separate membrane for water treatment with excellent durability and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to obtain acetylcellulose with high molecular weight of 200,000-1,000,000 by de-alkylating and acetylating cellulose ether. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of an acetyl cellulose-based separate membrane for water treatment with excellent durability comprises the steps of: de-alkylating cellulose ether indicated as the following chemical formula1.and acetylating the de-alkylated cellulose ether. The acetylcellulose has an substitution degree about acetyl group of two to three. In the chemical formula 1, R1, R2 and R3 are respectively hydrogen or C1-6 alkyl, and N is the fixed number two or more. But the exception is made when R1, R2 and R3 are all hydrogen.

    • The present invention relates to a complex hollow fiber for forward osmosis, and a manufacturing method thereof and, specifically, to a complex hollow fiber for forward osmosis, comprising a tubular supporting layer and a separation active layer formed on a concentric circle on the outer periphery of the supporting layer to surround the supporting layer. The separation active layer comprises cellulosic polymers, and the supporting layer comprises non-cellulosic polymers. The hollow fiber has excellent water permeation, mechanical property and pollution resistance, minimizes inner concentration polarization, compared to an existing forward osmosis membrane, maintains the high water permeation, and minimizes solute reverse diffusion of induction solution. In addition, the hollow fiber can be applied to water treatment processes for seawater, salt water, sewage and waste water, especially for a desalination process.
