    • PURPOSE: A method is provided to reduce the expansibility of a converter slag to suit for using as an aggregate without passing a separated processing process of aging. CONSTITUTION: To reduce the expansibility of a converter slag, waste refractories of alumina group having a particle diameter of 1-10mm are inputted in the converter slag of melting state to be an amount of alumina component within 5-30% for a weight ratio of the converter slag. The waste refractories of alumina group are inputted inside a port before excluding the converter slag of melted state in the slag port. When the melted converter slag is excluded thereon, the waste refractories of alumina group is modified by being melted inside the slag. Thereby a slag aggregate having the low expansibility is produced by reducing a glass lime amount.

    • PURPOSE: A reduction method of sulfur contained in molten slag after continuous casting process by oxygen injection is provided to recycle as desulfurization agent in LF, thus reduce the quantity of lime used in desulfurization process. CONSTITUTION: To remove sulfur contained in molten slag of ladle after continuous casting process, a lance is inserted into a ladle, and oxygen is ejected through one end of the lance that is submerged in molten slag. In this method, the depth of submerged lance is determined by regulating the ratio of the depth of submerged lance to the thickness of slag 0.3-0.7.
