摘要： PURPOSE: A method for displaying advertisement by using a short message service of a mobile telecommunication terminal is provided to download advertisement without heavy charge for a telephone call. CONSTITUTION: An MPU determines whether a display list pointer is null(602). The MPU duplicates the display list pointer to a temporary list pointer(603). If, at least, one advertisement data to be displayed exists, the MPU reads current time information(604). It is determined whether advertisement data to be displayed exist in the next display list(606). If one exists, the MPU determines whether duration time is larger than or same as the current time(607). If so, the MPU compares duration time with old duration time(608). If duration time and old duration time are not identical, the MPU calls a display data build function by applying an advertisement display instruction and the temporary list pointer(610). The MPU duplicates the duration time to the old duration time(612). If two or more exist, the MPU determines whether rotation time and duration time are larger than the current time(614). If the rotation time is larger than or same as the current time and the duration time is larger than or same as the current time, the MPU compares the rotation time with the old rotation time(616). If not identical, the MPU calls the display data build function by applying the advertisement display instruction and the temporary list pointer(618). The MPU duplicates the rotation time to the old rotation time(620). The temporary display list pointer is moved to the current display pointer and the value is same as null(622). If null, the current display pointer is duplicated to the temporary list pointer(624). The MPU updates the rotation time and the duration time(626). 摘要： PURPOSE: A method for measuring packet quantity on wireless data communication is provided to measure an amount of data transceived from a user's wireless terminal in packet quantity, and to display the packet quantity, thereby predicting service charges. CONSTITUTION: A wireless terminal requests an IWF(Interworking Function) unit or a PDSN to set a PPP communication channel(S1). When the PPP communication channel is set(S2), the wireless terminal enables a flag for measuring packet quantity(S3). The wireless terminal decides whether data is transceived between the wireless terminal and a server(S4). If so, the wireless terminal calculates the data in byte units, and stores the data(S5). The wireless terminal measures the packet quantity by dividing stored byte values(S6), and decides whether a connection of the communication channel is cancelled(S7). If so, the wireless terminal disables the flag(S8). The wireless terminal displays the measured packet quantity(S9).
