    • PURPOSE: A method for efficiently implementing Zadoff-Chu sequence in an LTE(Long Term Evolution) uplink is provided to reduce a chip area by reducing complexity of calculation. CONSTITUTION: A Zadoff-Chu sequence is converted into an exponential function. A phase and phase index of the converted exponential function are converted into a unit phase type having the phase index. The phase index of the converted unit phase type is divided into a portion of having modulo calculation and a portion of having no modulo calculation. Phase index k is calculated. The zadoff-Chu sequence having a form of the exponential function is expressed in a predetermined equation. The portion of having no modulo calculation from the phase index is expressed in the predetermined equation.

    • A message transmission method using a circular shift and an apparatus thereof are provided to increase the volume of whole information, which can be delivered, without deteriorating the PAPR characteristic of a channel signal, and transmit more messages by applying a circular shift to every sequence having an ID which indicates specific information. A message transmission apparatus comprises a length selection part(1001), a sequence selection part(1002) and a sequence application part(1004). The length selection part(1001) selects sequence length. Based on the selected sequence length information, the sequence selection part(1002) selects sequences having specific IDs according to transmitted information. The sequence application part(1004) transmits the selected sequences. In addition, the message transmission apparatus comprises a circular shift application part(1003) applies a circular shift to each of the transmitted sequences in order to transmit more messages.
