    • Disclosed are a method and an apparatus for content centric network (CCN) communication. A CCN node manages a forwarding information base (FIB) indicating destinations to forward an interest message that requests content. The FIB includes a name prefix indicating a name of content; a face list indicating destinations to forward an interest that requests content with the name of the content; and congestion impact fields indicating a relative time taken to receive the content from a corresponding destination in response to the interest message. If the CCN node receives a first interest message, the CCN node forwards the first interest message to at least one destination node determined by taking into account the congestion impact fields.

The inter-layer group communication in a content centric networking (CCN) environment among the embodiments includes: a step that a CCN router receives an attendance message having a service name which a user node subscribes from the user node; a step that the CCN router transmits the attendance message toward a rendez-vous point which is mapped with the service name and forms a group sharing tree; a step that the CCN router receives a content request message having a content name which the CCN router wants to receive from the user node through the service; and a step that the CCN router transmits the content request message through uplink and downlink interfaces which are connected to the group sharing tree.
