    • PURPOSE: A down converter using offset cancellation is provided to support wireless communication. CONSTITUTION: A mixer(244) down converts an amplified reception signal from a low noise amplifier based on local oscillation for generating an output signal of the mixer. A mixer load unit(245) is connected to the mixer and generates the down converted signal from the mixer output in output of the mixer load unit. A DC offset cancellation module(250) is connected to the mixer and the mixer load unit and measures DC offset at the output of the mixer load unit for providing DC offset cancellation.     • PURPOSE: An electric communication receiver and an electric communication transmitter to remove DC offset in real time and remove residual carrier signals, increase output power and improve a dynamic range. CONSTITUTION: The first IQ mixer(16) receives I and Q signals. The second IQ mixer(18) receives I and Q signals opposite to or the same as the I and Q signals received by the first IQ mixer(16) in phase. A receiving signal providing element provides the I and Q signals to the first IQ mixer(16) and the second IQ mixer(18). The first and second adders(24,25) provide the first output signal. The third and four adders(26,27) provide the second output signal. The first output signal becomes the sum total of the two I signals when the two I signals are opposite to each other in phase or becomes a difference between the two I signals when the two I signals are the same in phase so that DC offset components existing in the I signals are partially removed. The second output signal becomes the sum total of the two Q signals when the two Q signals are opposite to each other in phase or becomes a difference between the two Q signals when the two Q signals are the same in phase so that DC offset components existing in the Q signals are partially removed.

    • PURPOSE: A device for removing a DC(Direct Current) offset of a direct conversion receiver is provided to use a 90-degree phase shift, and to consist of 90-degree phase shifters, low pass filers, frequency mixers, and subtractors, thereby removing a DC offset.     • PURPOSE: An offset compensation circuit for a baseband analog system is provided to output a stable modulation signal about an outer variation factor by compensating DC offset voltage generated in a filter. CONSTITUTION: An offset compensation circuit for BBA(baseband analog) system includes D/A converter(210), a filter(220), offset compensator, mixing part and adder. The offset compensator includes first and second offset compensators. Each offset compensator includes adder, a center point detector, a sample and hole circuit and a comparator. The center point detector and the sample/hold circuit receive external data, and detects DC voltage level of one analog signal among one pair of output signals of the filter. The comparator generates first and second comparing signals for comparing the DC voltage of the sample/hold circuit with a reference voltage of the filter. The adder removes DC offset voltage generated by the filter by adding the comparing signal to the analog signal of the filter. Thereby, the offset compensation circuit for a baseband analog system outputs a stable modulation signal about an outer variation factor by compensating DC offset voltage generated in a filter.
