    • PURPOSE: A DC/AC converter and a method for supplying AC power are provided to control a power supply to loads by controlling a semiconductor switch using PWM(Pulse Width Modulation). CONSTITUTION: A DC/AC converter includes a transformer(TR) having a primary winding with a center tap and at least one secondary winding, a first semiconductor switch(101) connected between one end of the primary winding and a second potential point of the DC power source, a second semiconductor switch(102) connected between the other end of the primary winding and the second potential point, a first capacitor(105) and a third semiconductor switch(103) connected in series between the other end of the primary winding and the center tap, a second capacitor(106) and a fourth semiconductor switch(104) connected in series between the one end of the primary winding and the center tap, a current detection circuit(200) for detecting an electric current flowing into a load connected to the secondary winding, a pulse width modulation circuit, and a logic circuit. The pulse width modulation circuit produces a pulse width modulation signal by comparing a feedback signal formed on the basis of an electric current detected by the current detection circuit with a triangular wave signal train.

    • PURPOSE: A transformer is provided to reduce a volume of a high voltage transformer by generating an enough output even in the case of reducing a cross section of a coil winded on the high voltage transformer using a low frequency inverter. CONSTITUTION: When first and second sub-coil units are connected, third terminals(3,3') of each sub-coil are connected to the first electrode. The first terminal(1) of the first sub-coil is connected to the second electrode of a power at a state of being connected to the second terminal(2') of the second sub-coil by way of the first switching device(F1) of a push-pull circuit. The second terminal(2) of the first sub-coil is connected to the second electrode of the power at a state of being connected to the first terminal(1') of the second sub coil by way of the second switching device(F2) of the push-pull circuit. A one side coil unit is comprised of the first and second sub-coil units connected in parallel. Each terminal of the sub-coil units is connected to direct a current to a same direction in a corresponding part.
