    • PURPOSE: A method and laser CRT manufactured by such method is provided to reduce diameters of orifices of modulators and improve resolution of laser CRT. CONSTITUTION: A laser CRT comprises a cathode(1); modulators(2a,2b) having orifices(3a,3b) for forming beams from electrons emitted from the cathode; and a beam direction unit for allowing the beam formed by orifices of modulators to be directed toward a laser screen(7) of the CRT. A method for improving resolution of laser CRT comprises the first step of forming electron beam from electrons emitted from a cathode; the second step of allowing the beam to be directed toward a laser screen so as to excite radiated energy; the third step of forming one or more separated electron beams from electron beams emitted from a single cathode by using one ore more modulators; and the fourth step of allowing the laser beam to be directed toward the laser screen so as to excite one or more laser beams.
