    • The present invention provides an optical amplifier using optical fiber, which comprises: a single mode optical fiber containing multiple rare earth elements simultaneously; a first optical fiber lattice and a second optical fiber lattice provided on both ends of the optical fiber and totally reflecting light in a constant wavelength band excited by the optical fiber; a pumping light source generating pumping light for exciting the rare earth ions in the optical fiber; and an optical coupler connected to the optical fiber, and transmitting an optical signal generated from the light source and the pumping light output from the pumping light source to the optical fiber. Therefore, the present invention can effectively amplify the optical signal with a simple configuration using the optical fiber containing the rare earth elements.
