The rear dielectric layer covers the address electrode. The rear dielectric layer is formed in the rear substrate. The front dielectric layer covers the display electrode. The front dielectric layer is formed in the front substrate. The partition is colored with the third and fourth colors. The front dielectric layer comprises the first dielectric layer colored to the fifth color and the second dielectric layer colored to the sixth color.

    • A plasma display panel is provided to suppress a scattering effect of visible rays and to obtain high picture quality by forming a refractive part on a front surface of a front substrate. Images are displayed at a front substrate(20). A rear substrate(10) is disposed to face the front substrate. A plurality of discharge cells(16R,16G,16B) are defined by a barrier rib(15) formed in a space between the front substrate and the rear substrate. A phosphor layer(18) is coated in each of the discharge cells. Address electrodes(12) and display electrodes(27) are disposed to cross in the discharge cells. A light collection film(30) is attached on a front surface of the front substrate. The light collection film includes a refractive part(31) to collect the visible rays transmitting the front substrate onto a substrate center direction.

A plasma display device comprises a panel(3) formed by joining an upper substrate(1) and a lower substrate(2); a filter(4) arranged on the panel; a chassis base(6) on which the panel is fixed and a printed circuit board is mounted; a back cover(7) arranged to cover the panel; and a front cabinet(8) for connecting the filter and the back cover. The filter includes a film type filter attached on the panel and a glass type filter spaced apart from the panel. A black frame(11) is extended from one side of the front cabinet.

The reflecting layer is formed on the substrate and has an opening(4). The boundary layer is formed on the reflecting layer. The plurality of color layers are surrounded by the boundary layer. The boundary layer includes a boundary layer having optical transmissivity formed between color layers having the same color and a boundary layer having no optical transmissivity formed between color layers having different colors.
