    • The present invention provides a trip actuator of a switch for an electric power circuit, capable of triggering a switching device to operate in a circuit open location at high speed by minimizing time delay. The trip actuator of the switch for the electric power circuit includes: a main driving unit which is composed of a solenoid actuator with an output pin which linearly moves; and an auxiliary driving unit which is composed of a repulsive plate which is connected to an output pin and a Thomson driving unit which includes a Thomson coil to linearly move the output pin by repulsively moving the repulsive plate in a conducting state and drives the output pin to linearly move before the main driving unit when the electric power circuit is opened.

    • PURPOSE: A high-speed mechanical switching point is provided to quickly open and close and reduce energy required for opening and closing the switching point. CONSTITUTION: A switching point in a high- or medium-voltage switch contains two fixed contact members(1,2), a rotating, electrically conductive bridging contact member(3), and a drive for moving the bridging contact member(3). When the switching point is closed, the bridging contact member(3) is fit in between the fixed contact members(1,2) and short-circuits them. The drive is composed of two coils(5,6) which surround the bridging contact member(3) and are arranged in such a manner that the bridging contact member(3) can be caused to rotate by a current in a respective one of the coils. The energy which needs to be applied to rotate the bridging contact member is less than for contact members which move in translation in comparable switching points.

The deflection element rotates the contact arm with a shaft as the center between a first position and a second position. The deflection element adds deflecting force to the contact arm.
