    • A PLC(Programmable Logic Controller) having an over-current breaking function is provided to break a fuse and protect a transistor and a load from an over-current by connecting the fuse to each of the transistors of a load driving unit. A PLC having an over-current breaking function includes a load driving unit(120), fuses(151,154), and fuse disconnection detection units. The load driving unit receives a control signal outputted from a calculation unit of a CPU and drives a plurality of loads. The fuses are coupled between the load driving unit and the loads. The fuses are broken by an over-current in case that the over-current occurs at some of the loads which are driven by the load driving unit. The fuse disconnection detection units are coupled to the fuses and detect a disconnection of the fuses. The load driving unit has photo couplers(121,123), and transistors(122,124). The photo couplers receive and transmit the control signal outputted from the calculation unit of the CPU. The transistors are switched on to supply a driving power to the loads in response to the control signal transmitted by the photo couplers.

    • A device for tripping an excessive reflection power in an accelerator high frequency system is provided to prevent a system from being damaged due to a high reflection power without changing a trip level by maintaining the trip level at a constant value. A device for tripping an excessive reflection power in an accelerator high frequency system includes a high frequency power measuring unit(120), a trip level adjuster(131), a divider(133), and a comparator(132). The high frequency power measuring unit measures a forward power value, which is delivered from a high frequency system to the accelerator, and a reflection power value, which is reflected from the accelerator. The trip level adjuster sets a trip level for the high frequency system. The divider is connected to forward and backward power ports(121,122) of the high frequency power measuring unit and calculates a power ratio between the reflection power and the forward power. The comparator is connected to the divider and the trip level adjuster and compares an input power ratio with the trip level from the adjusted trip level, and outputs a trip signal, when the power ratio is higher than the trip level.
