    • PURPOSE: A reproduction device of a holographic digital data storage system is provided to drive a CCD according to an amount of detected energies of the residual signals of a reproduced reference beam and a signal beam, thereby reducing a cost and increasing reproduction efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A light source(200) generates a laser beam. A beam splitter(202) separates the laser beam into a reference beam and a signal beam, transmits the reference beam to the first optical path, and transmits the signal beam to the second optical path. Reflected mirrors(206,208) reflect the reference beam to transmit the beam to the third optical path. An SLM(Spatial Light Modulator)(204) modulates the signal beam into page units of binary data. A storage medium(216) stores interference fringes generated by an interference between the reflected reference beam and the modulated signal beam. A CCD(220) converts the modulated signal beam into an electrical signal. A residual signal detector(222) detects the energy strength of the residual signals of the reference beam. A pulse generator(224) detects the energy strength, and drives the CCD(220) if the strength is less than a certain limit value to capture a data image.
