    • PURPOSE: A method for focusing a beam on a holography disc, an optical head, and a system thereof are provided to compensate for a motion or a defect of a disc during a reading or recording process and increase recording or reading efficiency. CONSTITUTION: An optical head makes a beam collide with a target data location in a target data layer of a holography disk. A multi-stage focusing actuator(26) comprises elements(25) between layers and elements(27) in a layer. The elements between layers change a focus depth of a beam within the range corresponding to the total thickness of data layers. The elements between layers actuate at least one optical element to make the beam collide with the target data layer. The elements in a layer actuate at least one optical element to make the beam focus on the target data location.

    • The present invention provides an optical information recording medium that can stably carry out the recording or reproducing of information with a simple structure. Since the optical information recording medium of this invention contains a photo-polymerization initiator with the evaporation temperature in the range of 140°C-400°C, a recording light beam is concentrated to heata portion in the vicinity of the focus (Fb) of the recording light beam. The heat volatilizes the photo-polymerization initiator, so that it can form bubbles. The bubbles are left as cavities in the recording layer (101) after the irradiation of the recording light beam (L2c) is completed and the area in the vicinity of the focus (Fb) is cooled down. When a reading-out beam (L2d) is irradiated to the bubbles, the difference between the bubble internal refractive index and the recording layer (101) refractive index as the bubble external one reflects the reading-out beam (L2d) and makes it possible to generate a returning beam (L3).
