摘要： In a noise canceler, a pilot-canceling signal without noise is applied to the inverting input of a subtracter via a first MOS transistor. When a noise signal is present, a pilot signal and noise signal passing through a capacitor are applied to the inverting input port of the subtracter via a second MOS transistor to cancel the noise signal contained in the composite input signal. In the canceler, external noise may be digitally converted and the inverted noise thereof stored in a memory. When a noise signal detector detects the external noise, inverted data corresponding to the external noise is output from the memory. The detector enables an address generator to continuously generate addresses. The memory reads out inverted noise patterns which are converted into analog form and transmitted via a speaker, thereby canceling noises produced by various electrical and electronic appliances as well as nearby automobiles and aircraft.

摘要： A noise cancellor includes a first sensor (22) for detecting a noise generated form a driving device (10) and converting the noise to electric signals. A signal processor (25) receives the electric signals and forms control signals by multiplying the electric signals by a predetermined factor series. In response to the control signals, a speaker (30) produces sound which interferes with the noise so as to cancel the noise at an object point (13). A second sensor (26) detects sound at the object point and converts them to electric signals which are inputted to the signal processor. The signal processor switches the control mode, in accordance with a predetermined condition, to an adapting active control wherein the factor series is changed in response to the electric signal applied from the second sensor or an active control wherein the factor series is fixed.

摘要： To reduce noise inside a motor car passenger compartment, two loudspeakers (371, 372) are driven by signals derived from a reference signal x(n) by adaptive filtering carried out by a programmed microprocessor and memory unit (36) which adapts the filtering in dependence on error signals el(n) from four microphones (421, 422, 423 and 424) distributed in the passenger compartment. Reference filtering coefficients are initially determined by analysis of finite impulse responses when white noise is acoustically coupled from the loudspeakers (37) to the microphones (42), a white noise generator (48) being coupled to the unit (36). The reference signal x(n) is restricted to one or more selected harmonics or subharmonics of the fundamental noise frequency by a filter (34) which tracks the selected frequency. The selected frequency may be obtained from a coil (31) in the ignition circuit of the vehicle.

The output acoustic signals may be heard at the desired noise reduction level by having the transfer function H of the electro-acoustic transducer element (4), the transfer function A of the amplifier circuit (13), the transfer function M of the microphone (6) and the transfer function beta of the feedback circuit (7) presettable within the range of ¦AHM beta ¦>> 1.
