    • A method for removing the influence of a side lobe level is provided to process the movement of an ultrasonic wave composite image in real time by using an auto correlation method. A transmission and reception controller(21) transmits an ultrasonic transmission beam in a non-sequential method. An image movement estimating and compensating controller(31) groups a plurality of reception beams corresponding to the transmission beam to an increase group of an increasing direction of the number of scan lines and the decrease group of a decreasing direction of the number of the scan lines. The image movement estimating and compensating controller performs auto correlation of the increase group and the decrease group. The image movement estimating and compensating controller calculates an average phase of a sample unit or pixel for the increase group and the decrease group. The image movement estimating and compensating controller adds up the average phases after multiplying the average phases by the weighted value.

    • PURPOSE: An ultrasonic wave sound speed estimating apparatus and method are provided to offer an optimal supersonic image regardless of the property of an object. CONSTITUTION: An ultrasonic wave sound speed estimating apparatus(100) comprises a transmission module(102), a receiving module(104), an image generating module(106), and a sound speed determining module(108). The transmission module transmits an ultrasonic signal to an object. The receiving module receives the ultrasonic signal which is reflected from the object. The image generation module creates a plurality of ultrasonic imagers having respectively different sound speed by using the ultrasonic signal. The sound speed determining module determines optimal sound speed for scanning the object by using the plurality of ultrasonic imagers.
