    • PURPOSE: An ultrasonic image display apparatus and a power circuit thereof are provided to prevent unnecessary consumption of power and protect a circuit from voltage breakdown. CONSTITUTION: A high-voltage setting power unit(2) boosts the voltage of low-voltage power and creates positive and negative voltages. A bias voltage output unit(3) is connected to the high-voltage setting power unit and switches an ultrasonic transducer for transmitting and receiving ultrasonic waves to output a bias voltage to a switch. A transmission power unit(4) is connected to the high-voltage setting power unit, supplies transmission power for ultrasonic waves to the ultrasonic transducer, and regenerates the transmission power for the high-voltage setting power unit. A regenerated power storage unit(5) is provided between the high-voltage setting power unit and the transmission power unit and stores the regenerated power from the transmission power unit.

    • PURPOSE: An ultrasound system which controls a power source based on arbitrary waveforms is provided to minimize noise generation due to power conversion, thereby providing ultrasound images with high quality. CONSTITUTION: An ultrasound probe(110) comprises a plurality of conversion devices for performing a conversion operation of an electric signal and an ultrasonic signal. A power supply unit(120) supplies power for creating a transmission pulse provided to the ultrasonic probe. A transmission unit(130) provides the transmission pulse to the ultrasonic probe for acquiring an ultrasound image by considering a focusing point and the conversion device. A receiver(140) converts a received signal into a digital signal. A processor(150) creates ultrasound data corresponding to the ultrasound image using a received focusing signal. A display unit(160) displays the ultrasound image formed in the processor.
