    • PURPOSE: A material charging method to a blast furnace is provided to form a coke terrace layer and a uniform mixed layer and to improve permeability of gas. CONSTITUTION: Cokes is moved to a peripheral side from a central part in an initial raw material exhausting step. A cokes layer with a terrace having tilt is formed on the central part of a blast furnace and to secure the central path inside the blast furnace. The turning angle of a charging chute is controlled and the mineral of opposition is charged in the central part of the blast furnace. A mixed layer of mineral and cokes is formed using falling energy which the mineral of the opposition dropped in the coke layer has. The mineral is charged on the upper part of the mixed layer of mineral and cokes in order to form another mixed layer after the mixed layer of mineral and cokes is formed. The charging to the central part of the blast furnace is controlled.

The charging apparatus is capable of controlling the dispersion of the charges charged into a test furnace when the furnace operation is simulated and tested, and the thickness ratio of each location in a radial direction to precisely simulate the phenomenon in the furnace and to evaluate influence factors.
