    • A refrigerator with an integrated unit base is provided to managing the drain water without a separate tool by evaporating the drain water. A refrigerator with an integrated unit base comprises: a body(30) having a cold room and a freezer in the inside which is opened and closed with a door(31); a unit(32) with a compressor(33), condenser(34), an expansion valve and an evaporator connected each other with a coolant pipe(37) in order to supply the cool air to the inside of the body; a mechanical chamber(38) formed at the one side of the body; and a unit base mounted in order to be connected with the unit into one body to be attached and detached. The unit base has a collecting basin of container shape to make the drain water be collected. A part of the coolant pipe is installed at the unit base to be closely adhered on a bottom of the unit base.

    • A refrigerator and a cooling structure for a condenser thereof are provided to increase the efficiency of refrigerant cycle by lowering the cooling temperature of the condenser. A refrigerator comprises a main body, an evaporator, a machine room, a compressor(20), a condenser(30), a drain hose(11), and a cooling structure. The main body comprises a storage inside. The evaporator is formed on the rear side of the main body. The machine room is formed at the rear part of the main body. The compressor is installed at the one side of an inner part of the machine room. The condenser is installed at the other side of the inner part of the machine room. Condensed water and defrost water generated on the surface of the evaporator flow into the drain hose. The cooling structure is formed on the pipe of the condenser.

    • PURPOSE: A defrost water evaporating system for refrigerator is provided, in which a non-powered fan is installed to direct the air flow toward the defrost water, to thereby efficiently evaporate the defrost water collected in the lower portion of a machinery chamber of refrigerator. CONSTITUTION: A defrost water evaporating system comprises a condenser(13) installed in a machinery chamber of a refrigerator; a defrost water tray arranged beneath the condenser so as to collect the defrost water(w); a cooling fan assembly(15) arranged in the machinery chamber to have a height nearly same with that of the condenser, and which generates an air flow toward the condenser; and a non-powered fan(20) arranged in the lower portion of the machinery chamber and between the condenser and the cooling fan assembly, and which rotates by the air flow generated from the cooling fan assembly so as to direct the air flow toward the defrost water collected beneath the non-powered fan. The air flow generated from the cooling fan assembly is partially provided to the surface of the defrost water, an efficient evaporation of defrost water is achieved.
