    • PURPOSE: A leg assembly of washing machine is provide to apply current to friction member during the operation of a washing machine, thereby preventing the vibration of a leg by frictional force of the friction member. CONSTITUTION: A leg assembly comprises: a leg(20) of which one end contacts to ground(200), and the other end is combined with inside a cylinder(10); an elastic member(30) transferring elasticity to the leg; and a friction member(50) diminishing the relative motion of the leg to the cylinder. The elastic member maintains the contact between the leg and the ground. Even in case current is applied, the friction member generates frictional force with inner wall of the cylinder due to the change of magnetic field.
