    • PURPOSE: A bearing device for a vehicle is provided to improve reliability of wireless communication, improve detecting performance for monitoring the bearing device, and minimize complication of the structure. CONSTITUTION: A bearing device for a vehicle rotatably supports a vehicle wheel relative to a vehicle body structure. The bearing device comprises an outer member(1) having an inner peripheral surface formed with at least two axially spaced apart raceways; an inner member(2) positioned inside the outer member and having raceways defined therein in cooperative relation with and in alignment with the raceways in the outer member; and rows of rolling elements(3) positioned within the raceways and the opposite raceways. The bearing device includes a rotation-detecting sensor(4) for detecting a relative rotation between the outer and inner members; at least one status-detecting sensor(52,53) for detecting a rotation and another status in the bearing device; and a transmitting device(105) for wirelessly transmitting detected signals of the rotation-detecting sensor and the status-detecting sensor. The bearing device includes a signal-coordinating device(104) to transmit detected signals of each sensor by one transmitting device.

The end face rust-preventive seal part 9 seals moisture by covering the axial end face 21a of the housing 21 by its component, or by extending the component in a hood shape on the outer peripheral side of the axial end face 21a of the housing 21.
