    • The present invention provides a manufacturing method of a spherical roller bearing retainer which comprises: a cage forming step of forming a material into a cup shape; a guide hole punching step of forming guide holes along the circumference of the cage divided equally and on which rollers are placed; a chamber forming step of forming a chamber on both sides of the guide hole to minimize the friction between the roller and the cage and to smoothly drive the roller; a bottom bore expanding step of expanding a hole on the bottom of the cage; and a cage-width processing step of removing burr generated on the upper and lower ends of the cage and to adjust the width measurement of the cage. The manufacturing method of a spherical roller bearing retainer is provided to reduce a contact area of a roller, thereby reducing the friction of the roller; and to smoothly supply lubricant to a gap between a guide hole and a roller to reduce the frictional heat of the roller, the frictional torque and vibration of a bearing, and the abrasion and noise of the bearing, thereby improving the properties of the bearing and extending the service life of the bearing.
