    • PURPOSE: A structure of a housing of an oil pump is provided to form an oil discharge groove for discharging oil compressed to a position where oil discharge begins, thereby preventing the pressure of a housing caused by the compressed oil and oil leakage via a tip clearance. CONSTITUTION: A structure of a housing of an oil pump includes an oil discharge groove(16c) formed to one at a discharge part among oil grooves(16a,16b) formed to a bottom surface of a housing(14). The oil discharge groove has a sharp front end positioned to a position where discharge operation begins according to the change of tip clearance formed by drive and driven gears.

    • The present invention relates to an inscribed gear pump (1) as a hydraulic pump for a hydraulic brake system for a vehicle. The inscribed gear pump (10) includes a ring gear and a pinion (3) engaged with the ring gear. A sickle type pump chamber (6) is interposed between the ring gear and the pinion. A separation unit (7) is arranged inside the pump chamber (6). The separation unit separates a suction side (8) from a pressure side. According to the present invention the separation unit (7) including an internal portion (12) and an external portion (13) is formed. The internal and external portions are formed of sheet stamping and bending components. A sealing member (24) is arranged between the internal and external portions. The sealing member (24) presses the internal and external portions to be apart from each other and presses the saw teeth (15, 17) of the ring gear (2) and the pinion pre to be supported by saw teeth shaped heads.
