    • PURPOSE: A steel pipe for excavation and a method of forming a circular steel pipe tunnel using the same are provided to minimize noise and vibration in excavation and minimize an excavation period. CONSTITUTION: A steel pipe(1) for excavation comprises a leading end(10), and a rear end(20). The leading end has an excavation function. The rear end is formed on the opposite side of the leading end and is bonded to a new steel pipe. An excavation unit(11) with a plurality of bit blades are formed on the leading end to ease excavation. A first slope unit(201) with the angle of 25°is formed on the rear end so that the bonding to the new steel pipe can be easily made. The first slope unit is connected to a second slope unit with the angle of 25°formed on the leading end of the new steel pipe so that an included angle of a V shape has 130°.

CONSTITUTION: A core drill for drilling rocks comprises a casing(104), a spike receiving member(200), a spike(210), and a core bit(110). A joint(102) is formed on one end of the casing. The casing is hollow and cylindrical to accept a punched stone pillar. The spike receiving member is a cylindrical hollow member positioned at the other end of the casing. One or more spike accepting grooves are formed along the inner circumference of the spike receiving member. The bottom of the spike is hinge-coupled within the spike accepting groove. The core bit is mounted at the end of the spike receiving member.

A screw(14) is formed inside the inner pipe and discharges residue of the inner pipe to the outside of the main body.
