摘要： PURPOSE: A sliding rescue ladder is provided to allow residents in an upper floor to quickly move to the veranda of a lower floor in an emergency. CONSTITUTION: A sliding rescue ladder comprises a through hole(1), an upper lid(3), a guide rod(5), and a ladder storage case(7). The through hole is bored in the floor of the veranda or balcony of an upper floor. The upper lid is connected by a hinge to the inner peripheral surface or the upper edge of the through hole facing the left or right side wall of the veranda or balcony of the upper floor in order to open or close the through hole. The guide rod is horizontally extended from the left or right side wall of the veranda of a lower floor or the peripheral surface of the through hole, which faces the hinge connected to the upper lid facing the hinge. The ladder storage case is provided in the left or right side wall of the veranda of the lower floor by digging the left or right side wall of the veranda or balcony of the lower floor in the thickness direction.

CONSTITUTION: A safety ladder of a downward-type emergency escape device comprises a fixed frame(12), a housing, a drive gear, a reel, a wire(W), first and second speed reducers, and a fixture. The fixed frame is attached on the inner surface of a main body frame(102). The housing is assembled to the front of the fixed frame. The drive gear is meshed with the front surface of the fixed frame. The reel is coupled to the front surface of the drive gear. The wire is wound around the reel and connected to the bottom end of a ladder(60). The first speed reducer reduces the speed of a driven gear meshed with the drive gear. The second speed reducer has a centrifugal break connected to the driven gear. The fixture has a fixed lever which controls the rotation of the gears.
