摘要： PURPOSE: A device for forming not only a selvedge but also a catch selvedge edge during producing a fiber on a loom is provided to produce an intermittent catch selvedge having the selvedge and the catch selvedge edge having the high quality and the durability. CONSTITUTION: A device comprises a first rotating edge turning mechanism(12) and a second rotating edge turning mechanism(13). Each edge rotating mechanism(12,13) contains a rotating member(13a) equipped with a guiding hole of thread(12b) to guide a catch selvedge thread, and a rotating member(12a) to guide the catch selvedge thread(9) equipped with the guiding hole of thread(12b) or a cross thread(7). Two edge rotary mechanisms(12,13) are connected in a rotating drive unit(14) to be able to rotate. The rotation driving unit(14) is controlled by a drive controller(15). The rotating member(12a) equipped the cross thread(7) forms a loom shed(6) equipped a warp thread(5) and composes a catch selvedge shed(10), the rotating member(13a), and a selvedge shed(8) at the same time by the semi-rotation of the rotating member(12a) near a center shaft(25).
