    • A method for manufacturing sawtooth and all-steel card clothing so as to process textile fibers by a method capable of manufacturing card clothing promptly and reliably without damaging quality of the card clothing is provided. As a method for manufacturing all-steel card clothing and sawtooth card clothing for processing textile fibers in a carding process, the method comprises: producing a sawtooth wire by generating teeth portions on a wire blank sequentially behind one another in a longitudinal direction of the wire blank, wherein each of the teeth portions transversely extend to the longitudinal direction by departing from a base area; performing a hardening process of the sawtooth wire at least in the area of the teeth portions in the state that oxygen is excluded in the area of the sawtooth wire; and preferably passing the sawtooth wire through a heating chamber. As device for implementing the method, the device comprises: a heating chamber having an exit opening and an entrance opening for passing a sawtooth wire through the heating chamber; and an installation for generating an inert gas atmosphere in the area of the sawtooth wire passing through the heating chamber.

    • A method of heat treatment is provided to reduce content of residual austenite created on the surface of gears and shafts of transmissions after carbonitriding treatment while increasing hardness of the surface for improving abrasion resistance without deterioration on fatigue strength so that weight and production cost of a transmission are reduced. A method of heat treatment for gears and shafts used in automatic transmissions comprises a first process of carbonitriding by heating gears and shafts at around 910 ~ 950 °C to form carbide and nitride on the surface of gears and shafts, a second process of quenching in an oil bath or a salt bath, a third process of cooling the treated gears and shafts at -40 °C in a sub-zero bath filled with liquid nitrogen for 30 minutes, a fourth process of cooling the gears and shafts at -80 °C in a sub-zero bath filled with liquid nitrogen for 40 minutes, and a fifth process of tempering the gears and shafts at 150 °C for 60 minutes after taking out the gears and shafts from the sub-zero bath.
