    • PURPOSE: A brick depth measuring apparatus for continuously measuring whether brick of dome shaped connection pipe in the upper part of combustion chamber and checker chamber is damaged or not in hot stove facility is provided. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for measuring depth of brick of dome in blast furnace hot stove comprises an ultrasonic depth measuring means(16) installed at one end part of a hollow pipe to measure depth of brick(1c) of dome in the blast furnace hot stove; a connection means installed at the other end part of the hollow pipe to connect the hollow pipe to the dome; two cutout valves installed in series between the connection means and measuring means to shield the depth measuring means from the dome or connect the depth measuring means to the dome through the pipe; a cleaning means installed in series between the two cutout valves to discharge foreign materials inside the pipe; a control part(50) for controlling operation of the cutout valves and cleaning means; and an operation part(40) for extracting depth variation of the brick of the dome by signals from the depth measuring means, wherein the cleaning means comprises nitrogen purge valve(15), and a vent valve(12), wherein the apparatus further comprises storage means, alarm generation part, and sleeve flange means(14).

    • PURPOSE: Bricks having superior hot air draft in an air heating furnace are provided which smoothly supply hot air into a blast furnace as before the modification and extend the life cycle of the air heating furnace by securing the conditions that the hot air can be supplied into the blast furnace even after the modification of bricks of the air heating furnace just as before the modification.     • 본 발명은 열풍로용 체커 연와에 관한 것으로 특히, 고로에 열풍을 공급하는 열풍로의 체커(checker) 연와에 있어서, 체커 연와의 축열 용량을 감소시키지 않고 전열 면적을 증가시켜, 체커 연와의 축열 및 방열 능력의 증가로 인한 열풍로의 열효율을 증가시킬 수 있는 열풍로용 체커 연와를 제공하는 것을 목적으로 한다.
      이와 같은 본 발명의 열풍로용 체커 연와는, 종래의 열풍로용 체커 연와에 있어서, 연소가스 및 공기가 통과하는 홀의 내측 벽면에는 각각 홀의 길이방향을 따라 다수의 전열핀을 방사형으로 돌출시켜 설치하되, 상기 홀의 길이 방향에 따른 전열핀의 길이는, 상기 홀의 전체 길이 보다 작게 형성하고, 홀의 중심측으로 돌출되는 전열핀의 길이는, 체커 연와의 재질(실리카, 알루미나 혹은 점토질), 송풍 유량, 압력 손실 등을 고려하여 결정하며, 홀의 원주 방향에 따른 전열핀의 배열 또한 상기의 설계조건을 고려하여 등간격으로 배치하여, 체커 연와의 전열면적을 증가시키는 동시에 대류 열전달 계수를 증가시켜, 체커 연와의 축열 및 방열 능력 향상으로 인한 열풍로의 열효율을 향상시키게 된다.

An extra slit(325) is separated from the hot air tube metal plate toward an exterior circumference direction thereof. The bellows expandable in a longitudinal direction is fastened with the both ends of the hot air tube metal plate by fixing rings(331). The cooling unit is installed on the both ends of the hot air tube metal plate to block the extra slit of the hot air tube metal plate.
