    • A method and a kit for measuring characteristics of urease enzyme extracted from soybean are provided to measure the characteristics regarding the enzyme including enzyme kinetics simply and safely from an accurate result data through a simple method without using a complicated device and involving any danger factor during experiment. A method for measuring characteristics of urease enzyme extracted from soybean comprises the steps of: (a) extracting a solution including the urease enzyme from the soybean; (b) diluting a urea reagent or urine into water to prepare an aqueous solution substrate of the urea; (c) placing the solution including the urease enzyme and acid-base indicator or MBL(Microcomputer based Laboratory) on the aqueous solution substrate of the urea; (d) mixing the solution including the urease enzyme with the aqueous solution substrate of the urea with changing operation variables; and (e) measuring interaction between the solution including the urease enzyme and the aqueous solution substrate of the urea using a measurement means. A kit for measuring characteristics of enzyme using the urease enzyme extracted from the soybean comprises: an urease extraction device including a cup for soaking soybean powder thereinto(2), a filter(8) which consists of a net for filtering the soybean powder, a rod(6) penetrating through a lid(4) to move the net up and down, and a sealing portion(10) placed between inner side walls of the cup for soaking soybean powder thereinto, and the lid; a reaction cup having a protrusion connection portion and a concave connection portion, two connection portions facing with each other, at the outside wall; and a reaction cup support which is white and includes a plurality of grooves for fixing the reaction cup.
