    • PURPOSE: Provided are a copolymer which is colorless and transparent in solution, is soluble in a common solvent, has a glass transition temperature more than 60 deg.C and has optical and thermomechanical properties suitable for the preparation of an optical fiber, a coating, a film and a photomask, its preparation method, a body containing the copolymer, a multimode graded index plastic optical fiber containing the copolymer, and its preparation method. CONSTITUTION: The copolymer comprises at least three units represented by the formulas P1, P2 and P3, wherein the content of the unit of P2 is 30-70 mol%, the content of the units of P1 and P3 is 30-70 mol%, and the copolymer has a weight average molecular weight of 10¬3 to 10¬6 g/mol. In the formulas, X1, X2 and X3 are identical or different one another and are H, F, Cl or Br; R1 is H, F, Cl or Br; R2 is a C1-C10 carbonaceous group containing totally or partially fluorinated carbon atoms; Y1 and Y2 which are identical or different each other, represent H, F, Cl, Br or a C1-C10 carbonaceous group; and Y3 is a carbonyl group or a divalent carbonaceous group.

    • PURPOSE: A partially fluorinated amorphous copolymer for prepared a light conductive material, a product made from a material containing the copolymer, an optical fiber using the copolymer as a base are provided, to obtain a material acting as a guide or conductor to the light having the wavelength of visible or near infrared ray. CONSTITUTION: The partially fluorinated amorphous copolymer comprises at least two repeating units represented by the formulas P1 and P2, wherein i and j are a repeating number. The partially fluorinated amorphous copolymer is transparent and amorphous, has a molecular weight (Mn) of 5,000-100,000, and essentially contains 30-70 mol% of the repeating unit represented by the formula P2 when X is F or Cl in the formula P1. Preferably the partially fluorinated amorphous copolymer has a glass transition temperature (Tg) of 60-160 deg.C.

    • PURPOSE: An organic/inorganic complex material for the gate insulation layer of TFT-LCD, its preparation method, a gate insulation layer containing the material and an LCD containing the gate insulation layer are provided, to improve the coating property, the heat resistance, the hardness and the transmittance of the gate insulation layer. CONSTITUTION: The homopolymer for the organic/inorganic complex material is represented by the formula 1. Also the copolymer for the organic/inorganic complex material is a copolymer of the compound represented by the formula 1 and the compound represented by the formula 2 or 3. In the formula 1, R is an unsubstituted or substituted alkylene group of c1-C8; R1 is H or CH3; R2 is methyl, ethyl, propyl, butyl or methylene group; M is a metal selected from the group consisting of Si, Ti, Al, Zr and Ba; n is an integer of 100-1,000; and m is an integer of 5-10. In the formulas 2 and 3, R3 is H or CH3; R4 is benzyl group, an alkyl group of C1-C8, an aryl group having a substituent of C1-C6 or a benzyl group substituted with a halogen atom; and k is an integer of 100-1,000. The organic/inorganic complex material is comprises the polymer resin matrix comprising the homopolymer or the copolymer; and a metal compound selected from the group consisting of metal oxide, metal alkoxide sol, metal oxide and metal oxide sol.
